ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

With fortunate Jupiter in Taurus until June 12, 2012, you will build energy and financial resources in the first half of 2012, and then expend those energetic and financial resources in the second half of the year. It is likely you will need the funds you accumulated either for travel, classes, gadgets, or other learning tools while Jupiter transits the mentally curious sign of Gemini until mid-2013. It is time to develop your mind so you can apply your skills to an important project. Your impulse to take on a complex project will intensify while Mars, your planetary ruler, travels through the industrious sign of Virgo until July 2012. Use this enterprising energy to refine details, to learn skills that you will use in the future, and to complete an important – as yet unfinished – undertaking.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Lucky Jupiter in Taurus until June 12, 2012 will aid financial acquisitions and personal relationships. It is a good time for investments in precious metals and gems, or real estate. You will grow in important ways from classes, group meetings or spiritually-oriented travel. You will be open to higher states of awareness during the second half of the year. Explore mind-expanding possibilities beginning in June 2012. By opening your consciousness, you will release rigid patterns held in your body and mind. These liberating experiences will improve your health – physically and financially – as  energy and “currency” more easily flow though your body, mind, and soul. Financial abundance will result from spiritually-motivated actions initiated during the second half of the year. Plant the seeds in the first six months of 2012 and reap the harvest in the latter half of the year. Venus, your planetary ruler, turns retrograde in Gemini in May and June 2012. If you have over-spent in the past, re-pay your debts during this two-month period. If someone owes you, this is a good time to collect.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 21)

You will have a year of unexpected meetings with new people who will influence your life direction. This trend will be most obvious in the days leading up to a lunar eclipse in Gemini on December 10, 2011, followed by a solar eclipse in Gemini on May 20, 2012, a lunar eclipse in Gemini on June 4, 2012, a solar eclipse on November 13, 2012, and yet another lunar eclipse in Gemini on November 28, 2012. The eclipses of the sun and moon alter the normal pattern of solar and lunar light, which causes people who don’t normally connect to serendipitously bump into each other. Stay open to chance meetings and try to find an opportunity in unexpected encounters. “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.” You will get “there” – to a good place – by not knowing in advance where “there” is. By staying open to opportunities you previously had not contemplated, you will receive richness from unanticipated encounters and experience undreamed-of possibilities. Nonetheless, remember to stay prepared for all outcomes by stocking up on important supplies and having extra cash available for unforeseen adventures.

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)

A series of solar and lunar eclipses from December 2011 to December 2012 will give you time to tune into your sensitive soul. Make sure to do extra meditation, yoga, quiet contemplation and writing in the days leading up to the eclipses – December 10, 2011 (lunar eclipse), May 20, 2012 (solar eclipse),  June 4, 2012 (lunar eclipse), November 13, 2012 (solar eclipse), and November 28, 2012 (lunar eclipse). A celestial line-up between change-oriented Uranus and depth-seeking Pluto in Capricorn just after the Summer Solstice will stimulate your creativity and help you disentangle from a restrictive domestic or professional burden. Choose at least one area of your life that you would like to change – because energies will conspire to bring positive transformation to you even if you try to hold on. So it is best to prepare for and choose your change – because it is likely to come to you – one way or the other.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

Relationships will be anything but predictable in 2012 with illusory Neptune crossing through a sensitive area of your solar chart. You may see what you want to see in others, only later to find out that the other person had a completely different agenda from your own. Make sure to ask questions and gather details before making relationship commitments in the coming year. There is a chance that there will be hidden information, particularly of a financial nature. Travel will benefit you in the coming year, but be prepared for sudden changes in your own mood and the moods of the people with whom you may be traveling or in contact with on your voyage. Trip insurance is a good idea!

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

Energetic Mars in Virgo for an unusually long eight-month period – from November 11, 2011to July 3, 2012 – will heighten your energy level and endurance in 2012. Mars typically spends two months in each zodiac sign, but will spend four times longer in Virgo, due to the retrograde motion of the fiery planet. Consequently, you will experience greater heat and blood flow in your body. Greater circulation than you are accustomed to will strengthen your health but may also make you feel over-charged at times. This could lead to irritability or nervous exhaustion. Try to pace yourself during the first six months of 2012 so you don’t expend all of your energy at once or absorb too much of other people’s nervous energy. Get out into nature, take long walks, breathe deeply, or sit quietly and write your thoughts and feelings. LIBRA (September 23 – October 23)

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)
